Tanglewood is a Winter Wonderland of Activity

Recently representatives from our Sierra Head Office travelled to Collingwood to take some videos and pictures of the progress of our Collingwood projects. It is plain to see that there has been a lot of snowfall and though it might have slowed construction, Tanglewood is still quickly becoming a very beautiful site to be seen. We were invited into some homes in block 1 and 10 that have drywall and tile laid. Some of the hardwood floors are being put down as well. The views of the vegetation and ski hill from inside these homes are breathtaking and we know when spring arrives, Collingwood will be alive and green!

There is a lot of activity on the site, heaters are blaring and there are bobcats in every direction, moving lumber and digging holes. The blocks with siding, trim and stone work look stunning and we know that when all the exteriors are finished, Tanglewood will be a piece of art displaying all the hand picked variations in stain and stone.

We have started excavating for the Town Villas and we hope to be pouring foundations very soon. Block 1 and 10 are having kitchens, floors and all the plumbing and electrical work finished, while several other blocks (3, 8 & 11) have electrical and heat rouph ins and are still being drywalled. Block 6 & 7 are well on their way and have been framed. Many units have roofs and are in the process of being shingled as well. We are anticipating our first set of occupancy closings to be in April with many more in the summer months.

Our Sales Centre is finally done being built and final touches on the interior are being completed. It certainly accomplishes the task of exhibiting all the features and finishes we offer at Sierra and it is truly a beautiful building to behold.
